2019 Sony World Photography Awards - Student Photographer of the Year
Born in 1993 in Valencia (Spain), Sergi Villanueva studied two degrees in photography and a university degree in Audiovisual Communication. During his university studies, he participated in the Student category of the Sony World Photography Awards 2019, where he won the first prize with the series Hooked on their mobiles and La Terreta.
He currently works as a freelancer for different communication agencies where he develops photography and video advertising campaigns.
